Great
TTiagoIt is a nice hotel right in front of S. Bento’s church. It has a couple of restaurants nearby but we always had dinner at the hotel. Great food, both breakfast and dinner, and each plate had a very generous amount of food, good enough to share with another person. Pillows are too soft, beds are good, rooms are also nice but are not sound proof. You can access the Spa for an hour as long as you book it in advance and it costs you 10€ per person.

ААнтон МангилевThe most important thing — this is not really spa hotel. There is spa center across the road, but the only one benefit that you have as a guest of the hotel is 10% discount. In total if you want to have a spa, you must pay extra 30 euros per person per day. I think its not so fare for guests. And the second thing is that you have only scrambled eggs and bacon as a hot dish for the breakfast.
In the rest moments — everything is fine, staff is friendly, room was clean (but there is no fridge or mini-bar, that strange).

Amazing
AAndrewThe service was five star from the initial greeting through to check out. Accommodation was modern with glass doors and quality fittings plus a coffee machine which was a nice touch. Spa was very good although you need a shower cap for the pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was excellent and they even provided gluten-free pastries which was a lovely touch. Finally, the vineyard and surrounding areas are stunning.

GGuest UserSensible room sizes. I had the queen suite. Had a bath and separate shower and toilet. Air con in the room and a comfortable (what felt like a) king size bed. I didn’t use much of the facilities apart from the breakfast which was a continental style buffet and a station where they make omelettes of your choosing along with bacon and mini sausages.

AAnonymous UserThe room is not in the main building of the castle, but in the annex, so the room has plenty of space. The breakfast is very rich, with omelets that can be cooked on the spot by the service staff. The service at the front desk was average. I guess we arrived late and she was sleepy.

GGuest UserWe came to spend a night in this hotel on Sunday Easter. Very nice and well designed hotel. The first double standard table we stayed was very small. We asked for change to one at the same level but with better view and were very reasonable.
The spa entrances were not controlled, which led to overtime of people at the time. The restaurant area is the same as breakfast area, and the food is median. It is preferable dinner in the city center since we are at 500m. very good breakfast.
Free parking very limited.

GGuest UserA minha experiência no Maison Albar Amoure foi simplesmente inesquecível — tudo absolutamente perfeito do início ao fim! ✨

GGuest UserWe want to go back, but next summer we want to swim in the pool and take breakfast on the slope.
The reception closes at 21:00, so they should arrive before.

PPriscilaWe were very well received at the reception by Bárbara and had dinner in the restaurant where Mr. António showed a lot of friendliness and kindness. At the end of our stay we had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Adelaide, a very friendly and welcoming lady. When we go to Gerês we already know where to stay.
