Former Military Facilty
The Torrens Parade Ground sits between Government House and the Torrens River and was a fomer military facility built in 1935. Part of it is now a car park.
A Delightful Area
The old army barracks and parade grounds. Numerous memorials around here, and a pleasant atmosphere. Some wonderful gardens as well.
History
This is a must. Full of history and it’s free easy location and it’s free. If you are an old military man or woman you will enjoy it.
Lovely corner of Adelaide
