Flora and fauna all explained in the museum, with ample English translations. Try the local but simple restaurants in the village center. Great way to spend half a day.

Bike rental not recommended

Visited ４／２７. It is a visitor center common in national parks, but it is relatively small. There are few lecture-type exhibitions, but there is a button where you can hear the singing of wild birds, and you can listen to the voices of various types of wild birds, which is fulfilling in that respect.

After strolling around Lake Shikotsu, I entered the visitor center to overcome the cold. However, it was 4 pm, which was closed a few minutes after entering the museum, and I was taken out.
