If you are not a fan of museums like me, there is still a reason to visit Griffith Observatory - the fantastic view of LA. I took LA DOT’s FREE (YES IT IS FOC) DASH Observatory/ Los Feliz bus to Griffith Observatory, and it dropped us off right at the entrance. The bus ride was fun, and we got to see some cool sights along the way. Once we arrived, we climbed up a little hill to reach the observatory, and the view was amazing! We could see all of Los Angeles spread out below us like a giant puzzle. The tall buildings downtown, the Hollywood sign in the distance, and rolling hills of Griffith Park. We spent hours just staring at the view and taking pictures. Inside the observatory, we learned all about space and stars, but nothing beats the view from outside. #WinHKFlight #winhkflight Hong Kong is a destination with so much culture, outdoors, nightlife, food and history! I want to travel to Hong Kong and spend a day in the famous Ocean Park, enjoy seafood in Sai Kung and perhaps even hop on a ferry to Macau!

For those astronomy enthusiasts or who are interested in stargazing is one of the best spot. The Griffith Observatory#GriffithObservatory is one of the most visited observatories in the world with various reasons. Beside arts and stargazing, the view of Hollywood sign from here with the photogenic views is where many visitors as well. Of course, Griffith Observatory's main draw, though the free entry was certainly a bonus. A fee of between $6 and $10 to see the planetarium shows is worth it if you happen to be there too.

It’s also great for hikes with excellent panoramic views of the Hollywood Sign, Downtown L.A., and Pacific Ocean on clear days. Griffith Observatory was built to make astronomy accessible to the public, and compete with some of the best mountaintop observatories already existing along the West Coast. Inside the exhibit area of Griffith Observatory today, you can see comparisons to some of these observatories today. If you have never been to Griffith Observatory, it is a must-visit place . It is amazing day or night.

Griffith Observatory is an educational place to go. You get to learn a lot about the sun, earth, star and so much more. You can see the Hollywood sign clearly from Griffith Observatory and take photos with it. They have also very nice sunset view here. Over 100,000 shows have been presented since the building opened in 1935. Admission is free for all but do check out the opening hours (currently only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Griffith Observatory is a place that you can’t miss if you are in the city of Los Angeles. This place is not located in down town, however It can be reached easily by taxi or public transport. The recommended sightseeing time is between one to two hours. After a nice walk exploring the city, heading to this place is a great idea to see the whole city from above as you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. opened in 1935, #griffithobservatory gives you the best view of #losangeles. 👼🏻 after browsing through astronomical exhibits about solar eclipses, tides, and related instruments, you can watch a film at the oschin #planetarium. 🪐 at night, you can even look through the very 12-inch zeiss telescope that griffith himself looked through! 🔭 it is said to be the most looked through telescope by the public. 👀

We visited the Griffith Observatory as apart of the ‘A Day in LA Tour’ and had roughly 45 minutes to explore. This is a great place to see the Hollywood sign and learn more about the planets. There is also a planetarium. Even if your day isn’t crystal clear it’s so worth visiting the observatory to get the view of LA. Magnificent to be up there and see everything.
