We went in our SUV but since the driver chickened out we couldn't finish the full forest. But its worth a visit if you start early

Located around 30 minutes from Coffs Harbour, this state forest offers many opportunities for walking. Being a state forest, dogs are permitted.

Lovely quiet rainforest walk with several shallow creek crossings after a lot of rain. There was plenty of water at the falls and lots of leeches, easy track. Wear appropriate shoes that u don’t mind...

Great place for a walk! It’s about 4.5km return from the gate, and about 18 water crossings return, but we had so much fun. The water crossings are fine for our kids (4,6) not a lot of water in them. ...
