Travel Guide: Make it the most detailed (Dalian)
Dalian is actually not that big, and four days is enough to visit all the attractions.
⭐️Let's talk about transportation first:
🚇Subway: The subway stations in Dalian cover ninety percent of the attractions, but remember, before taking the subway, you need to download the 'Dalian Traffic e-Travel' app (as shown in the second picture).
🚌Bus: The most convenient way to take the bus is to directly scan the emergency QR code available on each bus, after scanning, the fare will pop up and you can pay directly, the bus driver said this is for tourists from out of town.
🚕Taxi: The starting fare for taxis in Dalian is ten yuan, remember! It's ten yuan! Some taxi drivers will try to scam you by saying it's fifteen, they are all liars! I encountered this at Xinghai Square!
⭐️Watching the sea and feeding seagulls:
I've been to many places, like the Golden Silver Beach, Xinghai Square, Tiger Beach, Fujiazhuang...
I highly recommend Fujiazhuang Park because it's very close to the sea, and there are many seagulls. Although Xinghai Square has many seagulls, the photos are not as good as those taken at Fujiazhuang. And there are not so many people at Fujiazhuang!
⭐️Accommodation:
I recommend staying in Zhongshan District or Xigang District. These two areas are close to various attractions, and both buses and subways are convenient. The housing prices in Dalian are not very expensive, so I strongly recommend staying in these two districts!
⭐️Food:
🛣️Morning market: If you are from the south and visiting the northeast, you must go to a morning market.
I went to the Beihua Road market,
🌸There's a bun shop at the entrance, very delicious!
🌱The strawberries in the market taste really authentic, you don't have to buy them by the box, you can just ask the vendor for a few.
🫧On the right-hand side as you enter and walk straight, there's a mixed vegetable stall, ask the owner to add more sesame paste, it's really tasty, a flavor I haven't experienced elsewhere!
🫓At the west exit, there's a Su Haozi that many people recommend, hmm... I recommend the meat floss, it has the texture of glutinous rice, and what's special is the perilla leaf added at the bottom, you can try the meat floss and black sesame, I don't really recommend the other flavors.
🦞Seafood: How can you not eat seafood in Dalian? If you're a student on a budget, I don't recommend going to Xiding, it's really expensive, with a service charge of twenty-one per person, and you have to queue for more than three hours! For seafood, you can go to small restaurants, any taxi driver will recommend many to you.
🍲For seafood restaurants, I went to Nanshan Xiaoyucun and Guangcai Restaurant.
The most recommended is Guangcai Restaurant! You must try their sea intestine rice and steamed sea urchin eggs, both are delicious. Two people can just order these two dishes, their portions are quite large.
Nanshan Xiaoyucun recommends sea urchin tofu and fried belt fish, three delicacies braised dish. I don't recommend the mixed vegetables! Not tasty, a letdown!
🏙️Night market: I also went to the most popular Xi'an Road night market.
Worth trying are Meng Ge's braised dishes, very distinctive and delicious, and there's also a stall making iron plate chicken racks on the spot, also very tasty and worth a try!
Finally, if you go to Dalian, I wish you a happy trip!
Visiting Xinghai Square in Dalian was a captivating experience. The vast square, overlooking the Yellow Sea, boasts impressive modern architecture and a vibrant atmosphere. As I strolled along the promenade, I admired the striking sculptures and enjoyed the sea breeze. The square's centerpiece, the Xinghai Sun Plaza, is a stunning sight, especially at sunset when the sky transforms into a palette of warm hues. Locals engaging in various activities added a lively touch to the ambiance. Whether relaxing on the beach or exploring the nearby museums, Xinghai Square offers a perfect blend of cultural richness and scenic beauty.
Xinghai Square is great, there are a lot of seagulls, it is beautiful, there is a playground inside, and you can also take a boat. But note that Xinghai Square and Xinghai Park are not a place!
At night, Xinghai has a little light, you can look at the sea bridge from a distance, there are many amusement facilities inside, but every play, you have to pay a penny, but the square itself is still good, families can go to play once.
Xinghai Square is located in Xinghai Bay, Shahekou District, Dalian City. It is the main construction project to commemorate the return of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to China. It is also one of the landmark buildings in Dalian City. Xinghai Square was built on July 16, 1993, covering an area of 1.76 million square meters. It is the largest square in Asia. The night lights and fountains are spectacular and beautiful, standing by the sea can feed seagulls and watch the Star Bay Crossing Bridge.
If you come to Dalian, you must come to Xinghai Square. This time, we still focus on not going back, not wasting time, optimizing the travel experience, and relaxing to play all day to feed the seagulls by the beach, and have an intimate interaction. The seagulls are super active (remember to bring bread, ham sausage in advance, Sign) Check in at the entrance of the coffee shop~ Leave love in Xinghai Bay, this is the place where the net red punch card (plug in the water with roses, take pictures super film, there will be resident singing in the coffee shop, you can order a cup of coffee and a cake facing the sea to listen to music, feel the sea breeze, very comfortable, Cozy) Feel the cross-sea bridge (you can also set up a tent on the beach, it is also very nice to play and eat, there is a great chance to pick up starfish by the beach) You can play in the nearby playground (parents with children, this is definitely a good place) #Walk to the newly opened Pengpai Night Market (Super snacks, salmon delicious walk to Xinghai Square music fountain (fountain holiday at 7:00; light show is 8 o'clock, 9 o'clock, really shocking) Xinghai Square has a Xiding sea urchin dumpling, very good, must eat one, but people are super super, you can book before playing, Then go eat after playing, it is not easy to sell, it is very hot
Really big square! There is also a slope! Playground! Yacht! There are high-end restaurants nearby! You can also play with children in water, stones, sand! The nearby forest zoo is also good, take the bus up! Take the ropeway down! Then go to the zoo! There are also two beach baths around!
