Zoningholm Palace is on the outskirts of Stockholm and it takes an hour from the city center. Take the metro to Brommaplan station and then transfer to bus 177 or bus 176. The palace is surrounded by baroque gardens and English gardens. The guard sentry faces a lake and has frozen in winter. The whole building has many exquisite sculptures and paintings. Karl XI's Gallery was built according to the Versailles Mirror Hall in France. Impressive ceiling depicting the war scenes of the 17th century, where the Nobel dinner is now held.
