Baili Temple

Bright Temple is located in Xishengkang Township, Ganzi County, through the ancient iron bridge. The five-star red flag flutters with the wind in Bright Temple. Bali Temple is a Tibetan Buddhist Gelu Temple. It is located in Shengkang Township, 10 kilometers west of Ganzi County. On the mountainside of the north bank of the Yaqi River, next to the temple is Line 317 of Sichuan-Tibet Highway. The temple sits north and south, covering a large area. Most significant, it was also the site of the Ganzi Boba government (Tibetan government) established when the Red Army Long March passed by in 1936, and the second floor of the main hall is the memorial hall of Commander Zhu De and the Living Buddha of the V.

After leaving Ganzi County, along the Yaqi River all the way to the west, you can see the rolling snow-capped mountains along the way. The first floor is the Buddha Temple, which is the main building, divided into East and West Temples and Great Halls. It is said that there are murals painted on the walls of the temple, which are well preserved, but unfortunately it is not open and cannot be entered. The second and third floor houses are a bit small, and they are said to be houses of living Buddhas and lamas. I was impressed by the irregular wooden floor outside the main hall, which was uneven and varied in size. It was a few years at a glance, but I didn't find the relevant introduction. I don't know if there is any explanation. The reason why Baili Temple can be rated as a national insurance is probably related to the Red Army's blessings to this place.
