We didn't climb up as our tour didn't allow enough time but it is a stunning fortress to view from below and from the road on the other side. Would think it is worth the climb up to see through it.
This is an imposing fortress. It is easily seen from the highway but it is worth stopping to have a look. There are great photo opportunities from the bridge across the river.

Attractive Fortress
