    Animal world

    It's a nice place for a family Sunday or for a day off with your loved one. Lots of different animals, birds, snakes and other animal species. I just hope they're taken good care of.

    Zoos are always a bit depressing to me although Rostov zoo seemed to treat animals pretty decently..

    A nice experience!

    They have a respectable collection of different animals from all over Russia and a few ones from Africa. Worth to have a look and spend the whole day there with your family or your better half.

    Not bad alternative to walk around comparing to other public parks in the city

    The Zoo is rather old and would be even better organized in a case of proper financial support. Anyway, there are a number of animals and there are some interesting place to see, for sure.

    To zoo, or not to zoo?

    I have reservations about the whole concept of keeping animals in captivity, but as zoos go, this one is OK. Perhaps not suitable for those with limited mobility.
