Beautiful attractions, free attractions. Explore different scenery!
There are many beautiful towns along the southern Mediterranean of France. Grimaud is one of them, about 12 kilometers from Saint-Tropez. This medieval village, located in the bay highlands of Saint-Tropez in the center of Var-des Maures, retains all the charm of the medieval city: typical Provence-style streets, small cobblestone streets, Romanesque churches, ruined 11th-century castles, city walls and old houses. Its castle site dominates, standing there with panoramic views of the coast and hills covered in the moorish crowd. How clean and tidy each trail in the beautiful village is. Flowers are dotted on the doorstep, and the house number is so emotional. The 11th century castle is not for tickets. You can overlook the Mediterranean from the top. Many locals brought their families to visit, but unfortunately they didn't see our compatriots. Although the town is not big, it is very convenient to live, there are coffee shops and restaurants. We came by car. Of course, you can take the bus. Grimo has a long history and a rich cultural heritage: 11th century castle: listed as a historical monument, is the property of the Count Senard (the annual summer world music festival Grimaldines). St. Michel Church: built in the 11th century, is the longest church in the region. Several small churches in Grimaud, Saint-Roch and Penitents. Note this small village, don't confuse with the neighboring Port Grimau (Port-Grimaud) (Lake City built by architect Spoerry). Grimau is recommended. Have time, don't miss it.
