#17 of Best Things to Do in Chengdu
Temples
古春琳
The second time I heard the explanation of Lin Yintian's tour guide, I had a more comprehensive understanding of Wenshu Monastery, especially his in-depth explanation of the wisdom of Dharma involved in Wenshu Monastery, which was fascinating. I came to a spiritual washing. It was very service. I really didn't have to say. Recommended gold medal professional guide

I think you look at it from another perspective, and the results are definitely different. Since you say that there is a lot of incense there, I am a person in the nearby town, and almost hundreds of thousands of people come here every year. Are these people not as smart as you, and without you, you have a culture?

Last year I went to Chengdu and wandered around Daci Temple in the afternoon. This Daci Temple is a very historic temple in Chengdu. That day, there happened to be a 10,000 people copying the Buddhist scriptures, I copied a heart scripture there, although it lasted three hours, but these three hours can be the most meaningful three hours in my life for me, my heart is very calm, but also unprecedented feeling of peace of mind

Qianling Temple Grottoes in Linxia Yongjing County Dasigou, known as Tangshu Grottoes, is a mysterious place, looking at the cliffs in the depths of the grottoes, it is indeed worthy of the name. From Lanzhou to Qianling Temple, you have to go to Liujiaxia first. The urban bus stop is at Lanzhou West Bus Station. The ticket to Liujiaxia is 19.5 yuan/person. After getting off at Liujiaxia, it is very close to the reservoir. The starting price of a taxi will go to the reservoir. From the reservoir to Qianling Temple, you have to take a boat to reach it. Large cruise ships are 65 yuan/person, small speedboats are 125 yuan/person, and tickets for Qianling Temple are 50 yuan/person. The scenic spot is relatively large, and the tour time is about an hour and a half to two hours. The cruise time plus the play time takes seven or eight hours, so if you want to go from Lanzhou as soon as possible. As soon as you enter the Qianling Temple, the left side is the mountain, such as a knife and an axe, steep and towering, different shapes, or like sisters, or like couples; On the right is the lake, the lake is sparkling, the lakeside is a green farmland, the shore forms a shallow beach, there is a bay in the middle of the shallow beach, there are several local children swimming and playing, it is really a vivid landscape painting. It seems that the ancient site selection is really particular. After entering the grotto area, you have to visit along a long plank road. The plank road winds through the mountains, and the years turn the valley between the mountains into a sandy land. Walking along the valley of the wide and wide mountains, you feel the leisure of the world and the earth. The ancients have gone, and the empty grottoes are cliffs. Some of the grottoes in the first part were buried underground when the power station was repaired, so I saw no signage. After a few minutes, the grottoes began to appear one after another. There are caves, stone carvings and mud carvings in the Western Qin, Northern Wei, Tang and Song eras. Seeing caves of different shapes are covered with cliffs, some are naturally formed caves, some are chiselling shallow holes in the cliff wall, and some are chiselling deep caves, there are holes in the cave, and more are chiselling holes above the cave, so time-consuming and laborious and dangerous, which shows the prosperity of Buddhism at that time. The prosperity of the temple. There are other heavens and earth in the cave. Some statues and murals are on the top of the cave, some are on the four walls, some are on the ground, and they are still between the heavens and the earth. The statues and murals of each dynasty have different characteristics. Personally appreciate the statues of the Tang Dynasty, with a round and dignified face, a beautiful and full body, giving people a luxurious and vibrant feeling. Some actually retain some colors, which is amazing. I really want to dream of returning to the Tang Dynasty and taste the style of the Silk Road of the Tang Dynasty. Although the plank road is long, but there is a head, but the heart is reluctant, such a beautiful scenery, the deep treasure house of grotto art should not be destroyed in other scenery, if you come to Gansu, don't forget to have such a long history, extremely valuable monument.

[View] Pengzhou day trip, punch the Longxing Temple in the jungle of Xiqi. There is Panchen Erdeni but Jijianzan, the word "South No Amitabha" written in Tibetan and Chinese characters. On December 9, 1949, General Liu Wenhui and Deng Xihou Pan Wenhua in the Tibetan Economic Building of Longxing Temple were powered up to Mao Zedong and Zhu De. They completely shattered the Kuomintang's delusions of taking the fight and peacefully liberated Chengdu. It is of great value to study the history of peaceful liberation in Sichuan during the liberation war. [Interesting] Understanding history [Cost-effective] High! Free

Spent 6 plus hour's in awe of the architecture, spiritual history/ feeling, sculpturing/carving artworks this magnificent Holy water village has in spades.Even though the giant sleeping Buddha is currently under renovation, including surrounding locations. There is so much to take in.Highly recommend purchasing the incense sticks and compose a blessing with the local Monk/Teacher/Preacher Buddha/Temple of your choice, of which there are numerous. The Guan Yin Temple is so beautiful 🙏💐🌺🌼🌸🐉🐲
