The 7th Panyusuo, 33 East of the Hudong
Original Text
I worshiped Komyoji Temple at Bando Sanjusansho No. 7 Fudasho. It takes less than 30 minutes by Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu Bus from JR Hiratsuka Station, and immediately after getting off at Kaname Station, it is an old temple built on the banks of the Kaname River and is also called Kaname Kannon. It is said that the beginning of Komyoji Temple was built and enshrined by Dogi Shonin in the Kannon statue obtained by ama from the sea in 702 (Taiho 2nd year). Enter the precincts from the road along the river. There is a white clay wall, Bando No. 7 on the right, Kinmeyama Komyoji Temple on the left, and the Zhu Niomon Gate at the end of the stone pillar gate. In the center of the gate or ...
From Tsurumaki Onsen Station on the Odakyu Line, take a bus bound for Tokai University, approach, get off at the Horimachi bus stop, and walk for about 4 minutes.
It is a temple of the Tendai sect along the Kaname River in the northern part of Hiratsuka City. After passing through the bright vermilion Niomon gate, there was the Kanzeon Main Hall. It was a very magnificent hall, and it seemed that there were important cultural properties designated by the national or prefectural governments.
I visited for the first time as part of a tour of Bando Sanjusansho Kannon Sacred Ground. There was a temple along the river, and the tower gate was quite wonderful. I also saw Mt. Fuji. The temple and the tower gate are said to have been selected as the eight views of Hiratsuka. A magnificent ginkgo tree was planted. I was able to get a red stamp at the Sutra Sutra Office.
The bus runs from Hatano Station on the Odakyu Line 2-4 per hour, and get off at Kinme Station about 20-25, and there is a three gate at 2~ 3 minutes walk from the bus stop, and the statue of Nio welcomed me. Many votive tablets were hung in the small precincts.
