In Liuzhou Kaiyuan Temple is actually two, one is the Kaiyuan Temple site, it is located in Liuhou Park, and the other is the now newly built Kaiyuan Temple, it is located in Liuzhou Duleyan Park. The site now only has some pillars and hemp as a sidewalk, which is quite bleak compared to Kaiyuan Temple, which is still incense elsewhere in the country, but can give people a stronger sense of historical impact.

The ancient Kaiyuan Temple is a well-known temple in Liuzhou City. The remaining site is located at No. 24 Wantang Road, Chengzhong District, Liuzhou City. It is in Liuhou Park. There are some temples that can be distinguished from the architectural foundations of other buildings.

The Kaiyuan Temple site is in Liuhou Park, made of blue bricks, it looks like a ditch, not far from Liuhou Temple. It is said that people commemorate Liu Zongyuan's activities that were organized by monks in the temple. It can be seen that Liuhou Temple and Kaiyuan Temple are related. There are Luoshengchi, Liu Zongyuan Yiguan Tomb, etc. nearby. Visitors to Liuhou Park may wish to see.
