Longsheng Rice Terraces, also called the Longji Rice Terraces are pocated in Longsheng Guilin. The distance to Guilin downtown is 77 km. Great view, minority villages, a cablecar and nice walking routes were on our to do list. 🍚🏞️ Longsheng Rice Terraces is actually a group of rice terraces, so you can stay one day or three days and it won't get boring... we stayed two days in a nice guesthouse. 🚍 From Guilin you can take a local bus or a small tourist vehicle, which will be faster. 5 Things You Must Know Before Going to Longji Terraces Longsheng Terraces, also known as Longji Terraces, are located in Longsheng County, Guilin City, and the Longsheng Terraces scenic area is distributed from east to west with 8 terraced villages such as Dazhai, Ping'an Village, and Zhuang Village. It is inhabited by two major ethnic groups, the Zhuang and Yao. 1️⃣Transportation tips: You can take a bus from Guilin to Longsheng and arrive at Heping Road. There is only one direct bus from Guilin Bus Station to Longsheng every day, which is at 9 o'clock in the morning. There is a bus every hour at Qintan Bus Station, and the ticket is 31 yuan. You can then take the local swing car to various villages. Choose the village you want to go to here. The round trip to Dazhai is 20 yuan, and the round trip to Heping is 30 yuan. I chose to stay in Ping'an Village, and it is about 20 minutes' walk from the entrance of Ping'an Village to the homestay on the top of the mountain. There are local people who carry luggage, with a starting price of 50 yuan. 2️⃣Accommodation tips: It is recommended to stay in a homestay on the top of the mountain with a terrace view.
