What travelers say:

The Golden Palace Monastery is a pure teak temple. I feel that it is the most worthwhile to see. There is a relatively long history. If you take a photo, it is better to go at noon. The sun is shining directly. The inside is like gold light. There are two attractions in it. They are very good looking and the style is very different.

Additional Information

Golden Palace Monastery is one of the few pure teak monasteries in mandalay, not far from the south of the gudu pagoda. The building is not only an example of traditional Burmese wooden architecture, but also a royal story. The early building was in the palace, the residence of the king and queen of mindong, who died here. His successor, out of fear, demolished the building. The sangha in the palace, embossment, circular carving features, Buddha, dharma statue very lifelike.
