Caves near the old Yagyu Kaido Road
Original Text
I'm not sure because it's blocked by a rarely strong fence. I can't read the information board well. A cave Buddha located several hundred meters from the Takamaruyama area of Nara Okuyama Driveway. In the case of an ordinary car, it is 640 yen if it goes back and forth from the entrance of Komaruyama, but it may come from the tea house of the pass.
You can go by using Nara Okuyama Driveway. I was about a 10 walk in the mountains, but I was impressed by the colored cave Buddha in the empty mountains. There are quite a few typhoon claw marks left and large trees are falling, so if you are going from now on, please be careful at your feet.
Unfortunately, although it is near the Kasuga primeval forest, the area around here is a cedar forest, and the road from the driveway is a little boring. This stone Buddha seems to have a unique atmosphere with the colors of the Heian period. It's smaller than a Japanese stone Buddha, but it's like a cave temple in Sri Lanka.
Cross the Okuyama Driveway to the east and go down the cedar forest for a few minutes. This is also restricted by fences, but the eaves were also hung and protected. It's a little disappointing that the color is unnatural, but I really wonder who carved it for what purpose and what thought.

- That's pretty good.
The photo is very beautiful. However, when I actually went there and saw it, I don't think it looked like this photo. Sure ...
like a small sri lanka cave temple.
