Late Post Aug 23’ On our way to Denali Lodge our princess cruise bus driver didn’t stop where everyone else did, instead he brought us Nenana Artisan Market (family owned), which sells, drinks, snacks...
Stop on our land tour from Denali to Fairbanks. Nenana is a very small town, but the museum had some interesting items, especially on snowmobiles and the guessing of the ice breakup (a big event here)...
There were tables outside for picnic or a bakery if you wanted to buy something. We got our tickets for guessing when the ice on the river is going to break up next year!
We made a stop here en route from Denali to Fairbanks. There's an interesting museum, gift shop, and coffee shop. The surrounding area is interesting as well--nice views of truss bridges over the Tana...

Bus stop on the way to Fairbanks

Fun place to stop! The staff was friendly and there were some neat historical things to see. I hope you enjoy!
