Nangang Village is located in Ningyuan County, Hunan Province. The village is lived in Xiao Liu's surname. It is legendary that Xiao He and Liu Bang are descendants. The village is composed of a dozen villages scattered in the mountains, and now it seems that its traffic is still not convenient. However, it is unimaginable that in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, this place turned out to be a place of businessmen and merchants, bustling for a while. The streets of the ancient village are paved with large bluestone slabs, and the walls of the houses are also built with large stones, plus the stone carvings that can be seen everywhere, the stone has become a major feature of the ancient village. It is understood that these buildings were built in the Qing Dynasty, so they were mostly Qing style, with shops facing the street, and some temples and houses. Some of the houses are still living, and some are left to waste. So, what made the bustling here of the year? The answer is salt. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, this was an important salt road. The merchants carried the sea salt produced by Guangdong to Hunan, and brought the tea produced by Hunan to Guangdong, because it happened to be in the middle position and had unique conditions. It naturally developed into a station to provide services for the merchants. There is also a road sign on the ancient road on the mountain that reads "Left to Shicheng, Right to Guangdong", which is the witness of that history. 300 years ago, these vendors from the south to the north slowly lived in Sungang, most of them with Xiao Liu's surname. It is said that Xiao He Fuzuo Liu Bang has beaten the rivers and mountains, and the Gong Gao has achieved the world. After Lu Hou's exclusive right, he chased the descendants of Xiao Liu's two families. In order to avoid disaster, he fled to Ningyuan and finally opened up the village of Sungang. Because this terrain is like a winding, and the street in the middle is like a string, so he got the name of Sungang.
