Danniang Buddha Palm Dune

After getting off the plane from Nyingchi Airport, immediately set off to Sosong Village to see the Yarlung Zangbo River and beautiful peach blossoms. The scenery along the road is very beautiful, the peach blossoms are wild, the mountains are full of beautiful peach blossom trees, and they are very high and strong. It is not the same as the peach blossoms we usually see. The peach blossoms are shallow powdered and very dreamy. Passing through the Danniang Buddha Palms, there is a free observation deck to watch. From a high point, a pile of snow-white sand looks like a Buddha's palm. Snow mountains, peach blossoms, rivers around, very beautiful.

On the way to the Yarlung Zangbo River, passing through this dune, there is a simple observation deck, you can see a dune under the snow-capped mountains from a distance, it is not too far to see like a Buddha palm, the peach blossom season scenery should be good.

The impression of Nyingchi is not an arid area, but when I arrived at Milin County, I saw Danniang dunes. I felt so magical. There is such a dunes next to the Yarlung Zangbo River and the snow-capped mountains. The natural formation has a special cause, which is not small, and there are layers and visual impact.

Buddha palm sand dunes are located on the north bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River, near the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, and are named after the Buddha palms that are like two hands. Because the dunes are located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, the wind is like a hurricane during the late autumn to the end of spring, the sand on the river bed before and after the dunes are exposed due to the dry water period, and they are blown and transported year after year and accumulated, which forms this special landscape. Bupa sand dunes are located in the village of samba, Danniang Township, Milin County, which is a desert landscape of wind deposits. Under the action of wind, a large number of gravel accumulations into small mountains. The continuous dunes form the undulating sand sea, which is in stark contrast to the blue Yajiang River and green forests, which is spectacular.
