Ebisu of ome shichifukujin
Original Text
There was Seihoin of Mt. Narita of the Shingon sect on a hill along National Highway 411 in Ome City, Tokyo. There is a stone steps facing National Highway 411, and there is a nice mountain gate on top of the stone steps. There is a waterfall called Ume no Taki in the middle of the stone steps, but when I visited, the waterfall did not flow. There was the main hall of Seihoin at the end of the mountain gate, and the shrine of Ebisuson was on the left side of the main hall. This is the temple of Ebisu-sama around the Seven Lucky Gods of Ome. Seihoin is Aoyagiyama Seihomiin ...
It is located along the bypass from the Ome Kaido to the Yoshino Kaido. One of the Seven Lucky Gods of Ome, a quaint mountain gate. Setsubunkai on February 3rd and a fire crossing festival on August 15th are held. There is also a Papua New Guinea Cafe on site.
It is near Kamanobuchi Park. There is a pond in front of the mountain gate, which was built in the Edo period, and it has a nice atmosphere. The precincts are not large, but it was quite interesting because there were several stone statues scattered around.
This temple is close to JR Ome Station. Also, I think it is a relatively small temple and a historic temple. Since it also has a graveyard, I took a picture with a digital camera.
