South Gate

The south gate is one of the city gates in Hengchun Ancient City. I heard that there were several city gates in the east, west and north before. The south gate is kept well, standing completely in the middle of the turntable, visitors can walk over to watch it up close and pass through the middle arch.

It is very similar to the city building in Tainan. There is no particularly powerful architectural style, but as a politicalally biased south, it is not easy to keep the monuments of Chinese civilization!

An ancient city with "spring", a small city with "story". The shooting area of "Cape 7" fires this small town, plus the beautiful natural scenery of Kenting, attracting many tourists to visit. Personally think that the city walls of Hengchun Ancient City are a bit incomparable, and it is a bit out of place with its broken houses. Instead, it is not as tasteful as the pastoral scenery of Taitung. Fortunately, the western Pacific scenery of Kenting makes the "second" of the ancient city seem indifferent!

To travel to Hengchun, you must come to the south gate to walk, there are many shopping streets nearby to stroll around the spring, a must-have itinerary for the annual festival!
