溪仔古街

Xizai Ancient Street is located in Jiaji Town, Qionghai City, south of Wanquanhe Square. In Qionghai, I looked up the red statue of the Lady Army. In the street park, the locals enthusiastically suggested that I go to Xizai Ancient Street not far away. Follow this Xinmin Street all the way to Wanquan River. The end of Xinmin Street is the entrance of Xizai Ancient Street. "Xizai Ancient Street" is Xizai Street. It was formerly known as Fuling Street and Xijiang Street. It was originally adobe road, and was paved into a stone street about 2,3 meters wide and nearly 293 meters long. Xizai Ancient Street was first formed in the early Ming Dynasty, and Jiaji formed a market in general synchronization, has a history of 700 years. Xizai Ancient Street is connected to the Xizai Wharf on the banks of the Wanquan River (formerly known as Xijiang Wharf), and the street Xinmin Street is the cradle of Jiaji Ancient Town, which is also the birthplace of Qionghai Sea Transporters. Businesses and Jiajia travel and distribute goods, which is not allowed through this road. The formation of Xizai Wharf and Xizai Ancient Street is completely the traffic advantage of Wanquan River Waterway. With the boats of Wanquan River, merchants, pickers and other merchants from the south to the north have all come to do business here, forming a trade distribution center in the east. Xizai Wharf was the largest trading distribution and transfer point in eastern Hainan at that time. The formation of the pier and ancient streets was entirely based on the advantages of the water and land transportation of Wanquan River. Today, it is still standing on the Xiguan Temple monument next to Xijiang Temple. Some inscriptions read: "Xijiang Wharf, the place where the water road is bordered, the area where the merchant ships stop, people and things, goods and wealth." Various goods gathered at Xizai Wharf, and then passed Xizai Street, through the picker, The cattle carts and other goods were shipped to Jiaji "Thirteen Lines" market two or three miles away. People from all villages and towns flocked to buy goods with little money. The ancient street was once crowded with cars and cars, so it was not lively. A few hundred meters of the ancient street quickly walked to the exit of the Wanquan River, there is a domineering name called "Jiaji New Era". In the long history of the river, with the continuous development of road transportation, the historical mission of Xizai Wharf has been completed. The bustling pier and Xizai Ancient Street in the past also fell silent. Today's 700-year-old Xizai Ancient Street has become a dusty memory, which is a sign of witnessing Jiaji's once bustling business district. In 2004, the former site of Xizai Ancient Street was listed as a cultural relics protection unit by Qionghai Municipal Government. Although the bustling pier has long stopped, there is no heavy footsteps of the picker on the ancient street of Xizai, but walking in today's Xizai ancient street, one step, one scene, one scene, the scene is known, the things are history, here seems to have never been disturbed by time.
