During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the couple took their mother to visit the Zhujia Courtyard, the richest man in Shanxian County. The Zhujia Courtyard was built in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, and has undergone nearly 10 generations of renovations, expansions and repairs. During the heyday, the compound was divided into many courtyards, with more than 200 buildings and bungalows. During the period of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the Sunrise entered the county seat, and the Zhu clan fled to the south. Some houses were demolished and burned. After liberation, only two houses adjacent to the east and west were left. In 1949, the Zhu family compound was the office location of the county party committee and government in Shanxian County, Huxi District, Plain Province. At present, Zhujia Courtyard is the main attraction of Sanyuan Square, which is reflected in the Huxi Revolutionary History Memorial Hall in Plain Province and the historical celebrity cultural wall of Shanxian. The county combines research results and historical materials to restore the building and facilities. The newly renovated Zhujia Courtyard has been transformed into a Shanxian Folk Museum, displaying hundreds of historical materials and objects collected from the folk.
