Tomb of Zhang Jiuling

In Tianxin Village, Wujiang District, Shaoguan, there is a Zhang's cemetery, where Zhang Jiuling, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty, who left many poems such as "the sea rises and the moon rises, and the world is at this time" is buried here. Zhang Jiuling, a native of Shaoguan, was the prime minister during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. Because of his honest and honest officials, he offended Tang Xuanzong, who was incompetent in his later years. He was demoted. This tomb was built to commemorate this noble poet. The cemetery is an ordinary tile-roofed house with the words "Zhang Wenxian Gongci" written on it. On the wall of the ancestral hall, there is a square stele left in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, engraved with the four characters of "Encui Yishi", and it quietly stops here, as if Zhang Jiuling's life was as innocent as paper, in the prosperous world. No trace.
