Beautiful
A really terrific place for a hike. The White Oak trail crosses Carmen's river up by the railroad tracks providing gorgeous views down river. Plenty of information available on the signs on the trail....

Wildlife visit
Amazing place. Peaceful and serene. The atmosphere is great and the trails and views are outstanding. Totally worth a visit. The wildlife and people are so pleasant.
Beautiful
Great laid out trails and never really crowded. Visitor center is top notch. There are numerous observation docks from which to take pictures and the trails are laid out nice.
Nice path- beware of flies!
The main walking pathway through the preserve was great. Paved at times. Dirt other times. My biggest gripe was the insane amount of insects that basically attacked us the deeper we entered the refuge...
