St. John’s Island is very beautiful. There are very few people on the island, and there are not many local residents. Compared with Sentosa, it is simply a drunken fan. It is a very quiet and comfortable place.
The area of St. John’s Island in Singapore is not large. It should be said that the preserved islands are still primitive, without excessive development. The mangroves, white sand beaches and green forests are still vibrant. Come to the island to have a picnic in Yijiale.
[Scenery] Natural scenery, blue sky and white clouds, lush greenery and blue water.
[Fun] Swimming, sunbathing, beach volleyball, running and hiking.
[Value for money] Pay by boat and free entry to the island.
This is an island outside of Singapore, and it is also commonly referred to as Cat Island. It used to be from a prison. The tall barbed wire fence is only part of the area open. There are many warning signs. The scale is large. The seawater is in two colors. You will see Many cats still look very innocent. They are lazily basking in the sun, or waiting for you to feed them. There are no shops or restaurants on the island. They bring their own snacks and water. There are few places to shade them. They must be sunscreened. There are a lot of boats, you can fish, and there is still a lot of fun.
It is right at the southern part of Singapore, you can come here with a ferry or a yatch. Don't forget to check the Lazarus island and enjoy the unrealistic waters at sunset.
A popular place with fishermen due to the rich seas surrounding the place. Good place to relax. You can also see many fidder crabs along the beaches.
If you've had enough of the city and want to get away, this is a nice quiet island off of the mainland. It can be accessed by scheduled ferry (that also stops off at another island along the way - ticket covers both stops). There is unique marine life off this island if you're into that! Not very built up at all - once you get here you're pretty much on your own. Bring snacks for a picnic.
A small island just outside Singapore which need a transport through small boat. Nice for a small quiet trip where no busy vehicles around.
An island just off the coast of Singapore. Access by a 20 mins boat ride from Marina South Pier. Suitable for picnics by the beach there, swimming if you like. Chalets are also available there
