Fishing Village

Suzhou Shihu "Fishing Village" former name Jue Xuan, also known as Yuzhuang, Shihu Villa, is located in the northeast fishing village of Shihu, on the outskirts of Suzhou City. It was listed as a cultural relics protection unit in Suzhou City in 1991. It has become one of the main attractions of Shihu Scenic Area and is open for free.

Antique architecture, Soviet-style garden, with the unique feelings of Jiangnan water town, beautiful scenery. Make full use of the original natural landscape, historical and cultural accumulation, the cultural veins are in line, in fact, more literary and old.

The location of the fishing village is the former site of the Agricultural Hall of Fancheng Dashihu Villa (a saying Tianjing Pavilion). The front hall is called "Fushou Hall". The front and back halls are connected by corridors on both sides, and the waist is square and half pavilions, opposite to the left and right, and the middle is a courtyard courtyard.

Yuzhuang is located on the mountainside above Suzhou Shihu Scenic Area, also known as Yuzhuang. It is the mansion of Yu Jue, a former calligrapher. Compared with other Suzhou gardens, the fishery is relatively simple, open to the lake, small and exquisite, and there is a plaque of Cixi "The Purpose of the Award" in Fushou Hall.

There is a scenic spot next to Shihu ～ Fishing Village, free to visit, standing in the hall overlooking the beautiful Shihu Lake and the mountains above, more interesting.
