If you walk along the path in the back of the temple called Shogenji, you will reach the ruins of Matsuoka Castle. Currently, there is no ruins of the castle, but it is on a hill and is a scenic place. The townscape spreads under your eyes, and behind it is a high mountain 々 lined up.

I took a walk while seeing the cherry blossoms at Shogenji Temple, and it was a very pleasant place. It is a terrace with a strong trace of the moat of Matsuoka Castle. The altitude is about 500 meters. Honmaru side ＝ If you go to the tip, you can overlook the Tenryu River and Ichida below and the Southern Alps in front. There is a cherry blossom beside the bench at such a tip, which is very picturesque.
