    Day trip with my daughter

    The beach is great. Unfortunately the restaurant lacks customer service. You can wait 40 minutes for your order if you’re lucky. The waiter complains on how busy he is. Bottom line, take your own snac...

    Perfectly lovely!

    This beach has lovely palm trees for shade, it’s gorgeous sand and water, and right next to town. Another one of many wonderful beaches on the island, and not very crowded either.

    Easy access, long beach, usually not rough.

    Great for swimming and hanging out under the palm trees that line the entire over-a-mile-long beach. Plus, you can walk there easily along the beach from Esperanza if you don't have a car. No need to ...

    Disheartening

    The beach is full of seaweed and worse, plastic. It is a disheartening landscape. You can’t even lay a towel on the sand as the whole beach is covered in rubbish.

    Easy access beach

    Sun Bay is great for easy access to the water. The water wasn’t as clear as La Chiva and Caracas, but it was still a lot of fun and would be great for a day at the beach.
