I took my family to Sri Lanka in Sep & Oct 2023. We hired a private driver / tour guide and he was amazing - he really took the stress out of the trip and safely drove my family around the country. He genuinely cared and wanted to make our trip the best it could be.Some of the reasons I recommend Kelum:- A registered tour guide with the Dept of Tourism. This is important because without that license they cant take you around the sites, etc. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a history lesson wherever we went- Helped with the itinerary and recommended things to do and where to go- Told me how much and when to tip people- Tipped us off if people wanted to charge us too much or had bad products- Had our safety in mind at all times - said what was safe and what not (eg. dodgy tuktuks vs safe tuktuks)- Modern, large Hiace mini-bus with SEATBELTS!- Friendly, great English, easy to get along with.
