Fanmao Li Village

Panmao Li Village is located 2 kilometers southwest of Wuzhishan City, where the Li people live. Walk 2 kilometers along the north bank of the South Holy River. This was originally a village with the "heavy acre system", with only a dozen "boat-shaped" thatched huts. Men have long hair tied in front of their foreheads, wrap their heads with red or black cloth, and their shirts are collarless and open to the chest. Women tattoo their faces, wear tube skirts with embroidered patterns, wear embroidered headscarves, unbuttoned tops, and open their chests; they like to wear earrings, collars, bracelets and other decorations. After liberation, the dress custom has changed. Women only wear ethnic costumes and do not have face tattoos on festivals or when welcoming tourists. The tourist village is run by the Li people, and now there are bamboo buildings and other buildings with the characteristics of the Li people. There are various labor tools, daily utensils and entertainment equipment of the Li nationality on display in the village.
