Central Red Army Long March Starting Place Memorial Park

The former site of the Long March of the Central Red Army is located in Yudu County, Jiangxi Province. During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, it was an important part of the Central Revolutionary Base and the whole red county on the eve of the Long March. It is the world-famous rallying place of the 25,000-mile Long March of the Central Red Army. From October 8 to 19, 1934, the organs directly under the Central Government, the Red Army headquarters, and the 1, 3, 5, 8 and 9th legions of the Central Red Army gathered in the capital area, and from October 17 to 20, crossed the Du River and began the 25,000-mile Long March.
