Almost every city has an observatory building, and I think they're over-lauded, many times, but this one is pretty cool. There's also a slide that's going to cost an extra $8 to play. There is also a bar and two decks with chairs and sofas on top that you can sit outside for a beer and enjoy the views. Walking to the viewing platform had some interactive displays that showed a lot of information about LA which was fantastic.
