Brussels is the central city of Europe. The EU headquarters building is also located here. The headquarters building is a large glass curtain wall building, not far from the city center. On the top of the rail transit, a row of EU flags is flying in front of the building. It looks good, but the building can only be exterior, and most people cannot enter it inside, but it is still very sensible to appreciate the heart of Europe up close.
The flags fluttering in front of the door did not appear to be heavily guarded, and entering the hall was just a security gate.
EU officials all go on vacation in the summer. There are almost no people here except for a few scattered individuals. Strolling under the tall glass curtain wall, looking at the European Union flag fluttering in the wind, I think of the man in Germany who was constantly criticized by everyone. What he failed to do, the descendants actually realized. How many wars and many lives in a unified Europe are exchanged!
