The Argentine Art Deco Museum is also quite interesting, and the entire art museum is very interesting. You can also experience many national-level decorative objects here, and the museum is also a very interesting place.
The National Museum of Art and Decoration is a favorite cultural and art museum, worthy of your visit. The predecessor of this museum was the private residence of the Chilean ambassador to Argentina, Matthias Ellazulis. This buddy himself is a famous Chilean. A prominent family, and later married the daughter of the Argentine president at that time, so he built this mansion.
Best thing to do is wonder around and then have tea at Croque Madame - though make sure to get a table with a large umbrella on it or some spot inside.
Went early (arrived at 11 am) on a Sunday to see the Italian artworks exhibition, which turn out to be a pretty complete and well-organised display. However, it takes you less than 90 minutes to see it all, so it's perfect for those who tend to get overwhelmed on large museums. The rest of this very small museum was nice; but it would not hurt if some areas of the building were freshen up.
