Photos of Chiangmai zoo

Chiang Mai Zoo is a beautiful, 200-acre zoo located at the foot of Suthep Mountain, surrounded by lush greenery and vistas. The zoo was established by Harold Mason Yang, who started collecting injured animals for rehabilitation, and later managed by the Thai Zoo Organization. Approximately 400 types of animals call the park home, alongside two waterfalls and a reservoir. The zoo is not only an open park, but a residence and haven for the animals that live there. There are small panda exhibits, aquariums, arctic habitats, rose gardens and other various animal exhibits in the park. Tours can be taken by bus, giving visitors a complete, guided view of the park.
