The Cathedral of the Good Shepherd is a historic and iconic church. It is not only a place of worship but also a historical and architectural gem in Singapore.
The cathedral is known for its stunning neo-gothic architectural style, with intricate details on its facade, stained glass windows, and ornate interiors.
Built in 1843, it is one of the oldest Catholic churches in Singapore, showcasing the rich history of the Catholic community in the city.
The cathedral underwent extensive restoration work to preserve its heritage, ensuring that it continues to be a beloved landmark in Singapore.
It is a symbol of Singapore's multi-cultural heritage, welcoming people from various backgrounds to worship and appreciate its beauty.
The cathedral is conveniently located near the city center, making it easily accessible to both residents and tourists.
The white exterior wall of the church is not too big in the surrounding buildings. There was no one inside at noon, but the surrounding area was more bustling and lively, and there were many restaurants and cafes.
A church very close to Bugis Village, and very close to the hotel where I stayed. The church happened to be under maintenance, so I couldn't go in and visit it. The older church, the greening around is also very good.
A small church, I didn't expect a long history, a very quiet place, with its own independent yard, lawns and trees are particularly well maintained, and the small scenery is pleasing to the eye.
Singapore is a beautiful Catholic church with great night view!
The cathedral has been completely renovated over the past 12 months and it is modern, bright and attractive. It is basically a rectangle, occupying most of its space, surrounded by small theme parks such as the Garden of the Monarch, the Park of the Land, ... besides the main building, there is an interesting little underground chapel. On the front of the refuge there are chapels and Joseph Church on both sides, adjacent to the small cross-shaped wing. The windows are ordinary except for the stained glass semicircle at the top. There is a large statue of Christ on the cross, which puts his sight behind the altar. I am delighted to be able to visit this modern Singapore church.
The Cathedral of Sander has been completely renovated in the past 12 months, and it is modern. The light is well surrounded by small theme gardens and there is an underground cathedral. The windows are very ordinary except for the semi-circle of stained glass on the top. There is a huge statue of Christ on the cross. The priest of the church is a high-ranking clergyman from Rome.
The Cathedral of Sant is a Roman-style building, the white building is very beautiful, and its high minarets are also a landmark around, there are not many people to visit, maybe at noon in the south media, there are no people in the church.
