The interior and exterior of this house, whether it is architecture or interior furnishings, reveal a great sense of history. Although the furnishings inside are very old, they feel very particular about it. Many of them are related to religion.
This is the first ever museum I've been to! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! ♥️ Why? because it showcases the actual lifestyle and living of a Filipino-Chinese family in Cebu City during the Spanish era. Everything is still gorgeous and well-preserved. Moreover, the place is beautiful. It hangs a lot of Christmas lantern during Christmas, and it also turns into a great symbol of Philippine Independence every June 12. This museum is located in Parian, downtown Cebu. Entrance fee is 30-50 pesos if I am not mistaken. They are open daily. I always come back to this place. Always.
More than 300 years old house in south east asia. Full of history. The family of yap anf sandiego really preserved all the things inside the house.Photos of the generation is displayed in the 1st floor and original arrangement is in the secind floor. There's a few minutes orientation before you can tour inside the house. The new generation owners of the family still went and lives in the house during weekends.
Cebu consists of two parts of history, one is the old houses of the locals, the other is some buildings from the colonial period, including churches, etc. The environment of this ancient house is also pretty good, you can see quite a lot Of the facilities.
The old Chinese left a real scene. The water tank faucet and wooden sink that seem to be strange today must have been the most fashionable decoration configuration at that time. The old feeling still gives off the luxury of the year.
Small attractions, the earliest Chinese ancestors in the area, and time to see
