Photos of Langjiling Temple of Gongga

Gongga Langjiling Temple is located in the southwest of Chitu Township, Daocheng, 62 kilometers away from the county seat. It is on the only way from the county seat to Aden. Tourists who enter Aden usually get off here to pay their respects. Gongga Langjiling Temple is a Tibetan transliteration, meaning "Snow Mountain State", and it is named after the three main peaks of Gongga Snow Mountain do not melt all year round. The temple was built in the early Ming Dynasty. It is a relatively large-scale Yellow Sect temple in Riwa County and a subordinate temple of Changchun Keer Temple, referred to as Gongling Temple for short. The temple has magnificent architecture and exquisite murals. There is a bronze statue of Maitreya in the temple, which is very precious.
