轻轻的一个蚊轻轻的一个蚊The racing field was built in the 1st century AD. It was originally used for competition, but today it has become a theater. The arena is 21 meters high and has 2,400 seats. From the exterior, you can see the 60 arches at the top. It is said that it was used as a military fortress in the 5th century. The performance venue in the arena is 131 meters long from east to west and 100 meters long from north to south. Standing on the top floor of the arena, you can overlook the scenery of the entire town of Nimes. There are only two floors outside the arena, but there are five floors inside. Walking into the Colosseum, the old man walks through the passages on each floor, making a full circle around the arena. The photos do not reflect the real scene of the arena. Only by standing in it can you feel its extraordinary! The European Renaissance revived the ideas, culture and art of ancient Greece and Rome, and the art of architecture is certainly one of them. An Colosseum 2000 years ago, can people feel the contribution of the ancient Roman Empire to human civilization, right?

轻轻的一个蚊轻轻的一个蚊This is a three-story stone arch bridge with a history of more than 2,000 years. In fact, it is a high-altitude diversion aqueduct built during the ancient Roman Empire. The Pont du Gard in southern France is as spectacular as the aqueduct in Segovia, Spain! This water diversion bridge spans the Nar River. The only purpose of the bridge was to lead the water to the small town of Nimes, and then divide it into public baths, fountains and private houses. If you look at this bridge from the perspective of the history of ancient Roman architecture, it should be the most significant contribution made by the ancient Romans to the construction of human civilization and living facilities.

Memorial Hall
MapleMapleHere, Van Gogh spent the time just after the break of friendship with Gauguin in 1988. Here, Van Gogh created "The Garden in the Arles Hospital", which depicts the scene of the atrium garden of the hospital at that time. At present, the only thing tourists can visit is the atrium garden enclosed by this two-story square building. In a corner in front of the garden, a reproduction of this masterpiece is placed. Just like the scenery in the painting, the flowers in the courtyard are clumped in clusters, retaining the unique vitality under the southern French sunshine. However, I still mind that it is too noisy because of tourists. Leaving here, set off for the next stop, continue to pursue Van Gogh's footsteps in Southern France.
