About Doha

Doha, Qatar’s biggest city, is a growing entity. The flow of development money has resulted in buildings like I.M. Pei’s Museum of Islamic Arts on the bay, and its selection as the site of the 2022 World Cup, the first to be hosted in the Middle East, will surely cement Doha’s growing imprint on the world map. Stroll down the Corniche, a seaside promenade affording views of the imposing skyscrapers and look for a sheesha bar, where you can become a member of the locals in smoking some fruit flavoured tobacco. Shopping is an important pastime in this city where alcohol is largely banned (expect to imbibe only at large international hotels) and malls take on an almost theme park style - like the Villaggio, a replica of Venice where you can take a gondola ride from the shops to the food court. The souqs (markets) offer a less burnished browsing experience. If shopping’s not your thing, try taking off of the city for a desert safari or to see the singing sand dunes, which hum as the wind blows across them. Finally, rest your head on any of the extremely comfortable pillows at Doha’s plentiful luxury hotels.

Haibin Road is one of the famous waterfront docks in the Middle East. In the middle of the seaside road, there is a large street park, Beida Park, which has many artistic sculptures reflecting the traditional customs of the Gulf Arab countries. It is often held here for large-scale open-air celebrations. There is also a large sea otter sculpture, a landmark artwork on the seaside road, which symbolizes the glorious past of Qatar's fishing industry. Walking through the greenery, the beach and the carved works of the forest, listening to the birds, smelling the flowers, and watching the scenery, it is very pleasant.

Trip Moments

I was very impressed by the Mondrian Hotel Doha staying in Qatar, especially the design, which is a very good boutique five-star hotel. Unlike Dubai, although the same as the desert country, Dubai's tourism development is much earlier, the Dubai hotel competition is particularly fierce, but even so Dubai hotel prices have always been high. But Doha is completely different. Doha hotels are far less than Dubai, but the price of the same type of hotel is much cheaper than Dubai. For example, the Doha Mondrian Hotel with a budget of 1,000 yuan has a very high price/performance ratio. The shape of the Doha Mondrian Hotel is a huge eagle. As we all know, the eagle is the favorite of the desert tyrants. One of the cheapest hawks is also over 10,000. The key is that the eagle is a carnivore and eats much more than humans. So the shape of such a hotel is destined to be hard to forget. Doha Monde's hotel interior is extremely gorgeous, but this gorgeous has nothing to do with gold. It is more like walking into the world of elves, with black and white as the main color, giving a very clean, noble and luxurious feeling. . The hotels rooms have a view of the Persian Gulf and offer great views. The top floor of the hotel is a bar and swimming pool. The great view overlooks Doha New Town and Qatar Pearl. The hotel is very impressive. It is shaped like a Ray-Ban spectacles with black and white plaid. It is very suitable for photos. Location, the hotel is about 20 minutes drive from Doha New Town. The hotel side is a super large shopping center. You know that the entire Qatar country is tax-free, buy and buy!
