Chengyi Discovery Center

Chengyi Science and Technology Exploration Center is a national 4A scenic spot, China Aerospace Science Popularization Experience Base, National Marine Science Popularization Education Base, Xiamen Science Popularization Education Base, and Fujian Province Primary and Secondary School Students Research and Practice Education Base. Located at No. 339, Xinglinwan Road, Jimei District, the entire building is a modern Jiageng style building. The center has 5 floors, 4 above ground and 1 underground. It consists of the main exhibition hall and 2 special cinemas (X-Flight Time and Space Adventure Special Cinema and Happy Time Tour Special Cinema), there are 2 theme restaurants on the basement floor.

Focusing on the four major themes of "aerospace, navigation, earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, and science and technology night tour", the Chengyi Science and Technology Discovery Center has seven exhibition areas, namely the "Dream Sailing Station" exhibition area, the "Interstellar Exploration" exhibition area, and the "Aviation Laboratory" Exhibition areas, "Navigation Laboratory" exhibition area, "Ocean Mobilization" exhibition area, "Xiamen Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Science Education Base" exhibition area, and "Blue Dream" exhibition area. The Dream Launch Station exhibition area on the first floor has a mini technology-themed exploration park specially tailored for children, and a brand-new Wonder Ball World has been launched. The Universal "Shadow" Light and Shadow Exhibition on the second floor uses advanced technology to take you into the fantasy world of light and shadow synergy. The third floor of the exhibition area contains four exhibition areas, showing the application and principles of technology in various fields of "from heaven to sea", and intuitively experiencing the road to strengthening the country through science and technology. The Xiamen Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Science Education Base on the fourth floor allows visitors to learn disaster prevention and avoidance knowledge and master practical emergency self-rescue skills in an entertaining and entertaining way.
