Wuyi Square is located at the southern foot of Yushan Mountain in the center of Fuzhou, covering an area of 4.5 hectares and a green area of 31,373 square meters. To the north of the square is an important place for the municipal party committee and government to hold receptions and other foreign affairs; to the east there are large landmark buildings such as the Provincial Science and Technology Museum, Telecom Hub Building, Yuanhong Garden; to the south is the Provincial Gymnasium, which can accommodate 6,000 people; People's Hall. The annual New Year's Day and National Day flag-raising ceremonies in Fuzhou are held here. The square has a strong political and cultural atmosphere. There is a musical fountain in the middle, a group of white sculptures in the pool, and 8 dancing girls with a height of 5 meters, which means that the "Bamin daughter" lives happily in the land of Bamin. A large stainless steel sculpture is erected to the south of the musical fountain. The Fuzhou logo "Three Mountains and One Water" (meaning mountains, Wushan, Pingshan and Minjiang River).
