A few days break in a great part of WA
Good times with the family at Christmas. A few challenges with the wind (WA summertime typically) but not enough to dampen the spirits and relax
There are better beaches
Australia with long coastline has many more better beaches than this. Locals and novice surfers seem to love this place.
Dolphins around the shoreline made our day
We detoured to Lancelin because of a bushfire near the Pinnacles. The beach was quiet on a Tuesday morning, white clean sand and azure waters. 2 dolphins were frolicking near shore. So that made our d...
White Sands
Detoured to have a look at the beach that we had previously visited back in the 1980's. Still nice white sands, someone on a quad bike in the distance and a lone angler near the parking area.
Fabulous in a beach buggy
We were lucky enough to know some locals who have a dune buggy so being able to drive right along the beach is such a novelty when you live in the city.
