Phoenix Park is a narrow and long park that goes into Danjin Licao River in Liyang. It was constructed in 1990. It got its name because there are two twin bridges nearby (called Phoenix Bridge). The park is divided into Yinlu Lake, Stele Forest, Shanshui Garden, Flower Garden, and other scenic areas. It has plenty of vegetation, ponds, and small bridges. Visitors can take a small boat out on the water and look at the summer lotus blossom. It is a great place for locals to go for a walk and relax.
Citizen park, nice place to get up early for a walk, built on the water
I came here to visit Liyang specially for a stone well circle of the Tang Dynasty. This is the shape source of the antique pit pot designed by Chen Hongshou when he was making Liyang Ling. There are still Tang Dynasty inscriptions on the well circle, which is a very good place. Ancient remains. The greenery in the park is very good (the whole Liyang is very good), and there are many squirrels on the pine trees in the park.
As far as Liyang City is concerned, the Phoenix Park is justified in terms of landscape appreciation and beautiful scenery. This introduced another landscape: tourists admiring the scenery and viewing flowers.
In the park, there are white walls, black tiles, small bridges and flowing water, lush forests, bamboos, flowers and trees, and the scenery is beautiful. Because of the original two bluestone masonry bridges called Shuangqiao and Phoenix Bridge near the park. The park got its name. The whole park is divided into nine scenic spots including Yinlv Lake, Forest of Steles, Zhenzhu Garden, Landscape Garden, Flower Garden, Children's Paradise, Peony Garden, Plum Garden and Yiyuan Pavilion
An oasis in the city, quite a quiet place!
