Abbotsford Convent

Down from Collingwood train station, go east to the Yarra River, and walk along the river for ten minutes to this quiet and interesting place. It was a church asset and now resembles a creative park, including a small farm, and the old religious buildings now have restaurants and artists' studios, which are very distinctive.

Very beautiful monastery, very well preserved, can also feel the artistic atmosphere of the past.
