Milan really deserves a couple of days' stop. After visiting the big Italian cities, I wanted to discover something else about this country and especially Milan. The city is surprising because it is very rich. There are some of the most beautiful churches in Italy, including San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, also known as the Sistine Chapel, you will understand why when you see it. Of course, you won't be able to leave Milan without having seen the fresco The Last Supper by Da Vinci in Santa Maria Delle Grazie Church, but be aware that in order to see it, you will have to book your ticket online several months in advance. Tickets are very limited. I'm not going to tell you to go to Piazza del Duomo because you'll do it on your own, just like you'll walk in the Vittorio Emanuele II gallery. However, I encourage you to go for a walk along the canals at the end of the day, because yes, there are canals in Milan. It has become a very lively district. You can end the evening in a restaurant or with a drink in a very good atmosphere.
