Photos of Xianse Temple

Sanchong Xianxi Palace, also known as Wuguwang Temple, was founded in the 20th year of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (AD 1755) according to the temple records. It has a history of more than 250 years and is the belief center of Sanchong people. The main purpose of Xianxi Palace is to worship Shennong the Great, and pay tribute to the gods such as Baosheng Emperor, Jiutian Xuannv, Pangu Emperor and Taishang Daozu. There are many ancient plaques in the temple of the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. There are 150 pilgrims in the quiet rooms. Every time the birthday of Shennong the Great on the 26th of the lunar calendar and the Zhongyuan Festival on the 15th of the seventh lunar month, the temple will hold grand ceremonies.
