Chaha'er Martyrs' Cemetery Review

＂ Chahar Martyrs' Cemetery ＂ is located at No. 38 Linyuan Road, Zhangjiakou City. It was officially completed in 1951. It was built to commemorate the honorable sacrifices of martyrs in the revolutionary war. It is one of the earliest and largest martyrs' cemeteries in North China. The main buildings in the martyr's cemetery are: revolutionary martyr's memorial tower, chahar revolutionary memorial hall, martyr's tomb, merit archway, memorial sculpture, etc. The tower of the memorial tower is 28 meters high, and the front of the tower is engraved with seven characters: the revolutionary martyr memorial tower, and the martyr memorial hall is built in the tower, which displays the name and life of the martyr Chahar who died heroically in the Revolutionary period, the War of Resistance Against Japan, and the War of Liberation to the War of Resistance to the United States and Aid to the DPRK. Today, it has become a red tourist attraction and a place for patriotic education.
